WEEK 0 Onside Recovery Power Ratings

Football is finally here. This weekend, regardless of how relatively underwhelming the slate appears, has been a long time coming. In preparation for this much-anticipated weekend, and the even more anticipated Week 0 gambling picks blog to drop tomorrow, I spent hours hunched over my computer crunching the numbers. I have a list of 131 division 1 football teams; here I present to you my top 25.

Before I show you the list, I feel it's important to establish an understanding of what power ratings are, and are not. Power ratings are not rankings; this is not a predictive list of where I expect these teams to finish. Power ratings are representative of competitive strength; an 8-4 SEC team is not equal to an 8-4 MAC team. Think of the power rating as an overall team grade. All right, my top 25:
